Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 1997, Luke opened the first short-term lending location, and Montgomery Enterprises was created. He quickly began opening title loan and cash advance businesses in Mississippi and Alabama. Today, Montgomery Enterprises has 34 different businesses with aggressive and strategic plans for growth including:
• 29 short-term lending facilities (Money Matters)
• Two collateral lending stores with plans to open 20 locations (Choice Pawn)
• Two car lots (Approved Auto Sales)
• Fulton Auto Auction
Over the years Luke has served on various industry association and charitable boards including:

• Itawamba County Development Council, President
Luke continues to expand all segments of Montgomery Enterprises by adding new locations and improving the current ones.
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Louis Lee joined the Montgomery Enterprises team in 2012 to lead the operations of Money Matters as well as Approved Auto Sales.
With the help of Louis’ leadership, both Approved Auto Sales and Money Matters have seen substantial growth since his arrival. Louis played an integral role in creating and implementing budgets across the company as well as forming a team of four district managers with a combined 44 years of industry experience.
Prior to Montgomery Enterprises, Louis had four years of experience in the sporting goods industry where he was an liaison between manufacturers and school districts. He also spent three years working in the wholesale furniture industry where he formed relationships with manufacturers and retailers
throughout the country.
Louis received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Freed- Hardeman University in 2005. He graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Alpha Chi national college honor society. He was also a member of the baseball team.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Rachel joined Montgomery Enterprises in June 2012 as an internal auditor and compliance officer. She was promoted to chief financial officer in October 2013. Rachel has 10 years of public accounting experience with a specialization in auditing governmental and not-for-profit entities paired with two years of internal audit experience with the U.S. Civil Air Patrol.
Rachel is a Certified Public Accountant in Mississippi and Alabama. She is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Rachel earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Mississippi.
INTERNAL AUDITOR/ COMPLIANCE OFFICER
LaTessa Blissard joined Montgomery Enterprises in January 2014 as an internal auditor and compliance officer. She has more than 15 years of service experience in the banking and accounting industry. She came to MEI after serving as a staff accountant for W. Keith Pounds CPA firm in Houston, Mississippi. Previous to her years in public accounting, LaTessa served as a financial consultant for Jefferson Pilot Financial and Nationwide Insurance, an auditor for Aim Healthcare and a staff accountant at Hunter Douglas North America.
LaTessa holds a bachelor’s degrees in business administration and in accounting from Mississippi State University. LaTessa has also traveled North America attending financial seminars and participating in peer reviews and internal audits.
TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST/RECRUITER
Will Dobson joined Montgomery Enterprises in December 2013 as a talent acquisition specialist and recruiter. Will has more than 13 years of recruiting and recruiting operations experience within the human resources field. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2013 after 20 years of distinguished military service. He spent the majority of his military career as recruiter, retention manager and recruiting office manager.
Will holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Roger Williams University.
Kim Wright started with Montgomery Enterprises in 2001. She has more than 12 years of experience in the title loan and check advance industry. Kim was originally hired as a single office manager and was quickly promoted to district manager.
Over the last nine years, Kim has opened 14 locations from the ground up. She is currently the district manager for six Mississippi locations and two Alabama locations.
Janna Tolar began working with Montgomery Enterprises in March 2006 as an assistant manager. In her first year with the company, she was quickly promoted to office manager and then promoted to district manager. She has more than eight years experience in the title loan and check advance industry.
Janna is currently the district manager for eight locations in northern Mississippi.
Stephanie joined Montgomery Enterprises in January 2014 as a district manager. She has 10 years in the consumer lending industry with six of those years as a multi-unit manager. She came to MEI after a seven year run at PLS Financial Services where she started in January 2006 as a customer service representative. She was promoted to store manager within six months and then district manager within a year, overseeing operations at six PLS locations in Mississippi. Stephanie was named PLS Manager of the Year in 2008.
She is currently the district manager for six MEI locations in Mississippi.
Tommy came to Montgomery Enterprises in 2014 after nine years as a district manager at QC Holdings, a publicly traded financial services company. Tommy opened his own graphic design and print business in 1988, and after 11 years in the print business, he sold his company. He has been a multi-unit manager since.
Tommy has experience in budget projections, creating marketing strategies, training new hires and conducting meetings. He is currently the district manager for seven MEI locations in Alabama.
Tommy attended Jefferson State Jr. College and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
DIRECTOR OF EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT
Meredith joined Montgomery Enterprises in August 2013 as the director of employee development. Under that title she also serves as the head of human resources for the company.
She received a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in public relations from Mississippi State University in 2013.
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS | CHOICE PAWN
Keith joined Montgomery Enterprises in 2014 to oversee and assist in building Choice Pawn. He came to the company from Premier Pawn and Jewelry, which he helped grow from the ground up. He has a proven track record of leading both private and Fortune 500 companies from concept, through development to implementation of the business plan. Keith is also a recognized business consultant, teaching others how to enlarge their pawn businesses.
Prior to his experience at Premier, Keith was a regional manager of operations for La Familia Pawn and Jewelry. During his time at La Familia, he oversaw all aspects of store operations and growth, with more than $10 million in revenue. Keith also has experience at Value Pawn and Jewelry as a region leader, where in 2009 he achieved the highest net income per store average company-wide with $746,000. Earlier in his career, Keith was responsible for new store growth and operation of 26 stores at Dolgen (Dollar General) Corporation.
